To power up your Ledger device and start the setup process, follow these steps:
Connect Your Ledger Device: Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger device to a USB port on your computer or mobile device.
Turn on Your Ledger Device: Press the button on your Ledger device to power it on. You may see the Ledger logo appear on the device's screen.
Navigate to Ledger.com/Start®: Open your web browser and go to Ledger.com/Start®. This is the official site for setting up and configuring your Ledger device.
Choose Your Device: On the Ledger.com/Start® page, you'll see options for different Ledger devices, such as Ledger Nano S, Ledger Nano X, etc. Select the device you're setting up.
Follow the On-Screen Instructions: Ledger.com/Start® will guide you through the setup process step by step. This typically involves choosing a PIN code, writing down your recovery phrase, and installing the necessary software (such as Ledger Live) on your computer or mobile device.
Set Up Your PIN Code: You'll be prompted to set up a PIN code for your Ledger device. Follow the instructions on the screen to choose a PIN code and confirm it.
Write Down Your Recovery Phrase: During the setup process, you'll be given a recovery phrase (also known as a seed phrase). Write down this phrase on the provided Recovery Sheet and keep it in a safe and secure location. This recovery phrase is essential for recovering your funds if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged.
